I haven't posted anything on my blog in over a year and I have no idea why! Well, I do. I have been SUPER busy and had lots of new things going on that I haven't really even had time to think about posting on my blog. Where do I start?
In January 2015 when I last posted on my blog, I did The Magical Orlando Tag, as I was on my countdown to visiting Walt Disney World in Florida with my best friend Chelsea in June. Since then, so much has changed! Holidays, boyfriends, moving, new jobs and more!
The main reason I got distracted from blogging in the beginning was because I was spending a LOT of my time with my boyfriend who I had been with in school, but we both moved to different places and drifted apart. We started talking again in the February 2015, we got together officially in the April and we are happier than ever right now!
The countdown did continue for Florida, and seemed to take forever, but then the day before arrived and we were like 'that went so fast!' I will be doing a completely separate post on my trip to Disney VERY SOON, but I had an absolutely amazing time, I didn't want to come home whatsoever!
After I got back from America, I then graduated from Liverpool Hope University with a Bachelor of Arts with Honours Degree in Education and Early Childhood - a day I never thought I would see! My three years at uni seemed to fly by and was one of the best things I have done with my life so far and was absolutely worth it. Graduation day was a very long (and quite boring, sorry!) day, but wearing the cap and gown and having all of my family there and enjoying a celebratory meal together was the best part of it all.
After graduating, I managed to get myself a job in a primary school - the school I had always set my sights on and the reason why I went to university in the first place which was amazing! I started in September and love my job a lot!
I then celebrated my 22nd birthday in September with an amazing present from my boyfriend - a Christmassy weekend away to London! He knew that I wanted to go back to London for a few days at some point and he knows that I LOVE Christmas so this present was really thoughtful. We went to London on the 19th of December for 4 days and had a fabulous time. It was my boyfriend's first time in London so we did the whole 'tourist' part of London - Big Ben, Oxford Street, Leicester Square, Covent Garden, Harrods and Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park.
The day after we arrived back, we went to view a couple of apartments! This was really exciting for us just before Christmas as we fell in love with the second one that we viewed. It wasn't too far away from my parents' house either which was really important to me. I mentioned briefly earlier, but my boyfriend and I went to school together, a year apart, and since then he had moved about an hour and a half away from where my home with my parents was and a bit later on I moved to Liverpool for uni. It was really hard sometimes with the distance as none of us drive! But we ended up being successful with the apartment we fell in love with and moved in in February 2016. After getting the apartment, he left his job where he was living and moved back home to live with me and got a new job around here.
I hope to get my long and overdue post about mine and Chelsea's trip to Walt Disney World very soon and will share lots of pictures too!

The Magical Orlando Tag!
I saw this tag over on Ellie’s blog (elliesramblings) and I was all
over it. If there is anything blogwise that is Disney, Florida, Universal,
SeaWorld etc. then I am sold so when I saw the magical Orlando tag I wanted to
do it right away. Orlando is my favourite place in the whole wide world and am
currently waiting what seems like forever for my trip back there in June!
Fingers crossed time hurries its little butt up…
Which
Hogwarts house would you be sorted into?
I’d like to think it would be Gryffindor house, probably what most
people would say haha. I guess Gryffindor is the obvious choice, but Harry, Ron
and Hermione just get into the most trouble, but the most fun at the same time.
Name a
Disney character you’d like to have dinner with.
One?! Just one?! Surely it’s impossible to choose just one… I’d like
to have dinner with Ariel because hs eis my favourite princess, Belle because
she is my second favourite and I just love her and also Mickey and Minnie as
that’s where Disney all started!
Which
Marvel superhero power would you choose?
I’m not really a Marvel film kind of person to be really honest. I’ve
only ever seen the Spiderman movies and as much as I did enjoy them, I haven’t
really had the interest to watch any of the others. So I’m going to have to say
Spiderman’s powers – I suppose flying around on strings of web would be fun,
right?
If you
could bring back one dinosaur breed from Jurassic Park, which would it be?
Again, I’m not really a fan of Jurassic Park either and I definitely
wouldn’t want to bring back any dinosaurs haha. If google has done me rightly
then I’d say the Compsognathus – the smallest dinosaur which is apparently the
size of a chicken and only hunts small lizards and insects… ew.
You can
ride a dragon at the Triwizard Tournament and visit the owlery at The Wizarding
World of Harry Potter, but where else would you go on a school trip to
Hogsmeade?
Definitely Honeydukes and The Three Broomsticks. I have a sweet tooth
so would love to go into Honeydukes although I’d avoid the Bertie Bott’s Every
Flavour Beans! And I’d have to go into The Three Broomsticks for a butterbeer.
I have had the butterbeer at the studio tour in London and I wasn’t that keen
on it, but I hear in Florida it tastes much better – I want to try the frozen
one!
A scene
in any Disney, Harry Potter or Marvel movie you wish you could experience.
Disney movie: either the part of your world scene in The Little
Mermaid so I could go into Ariel’s little cave and see her collection or the
tale as old as time scene in Beauty and the Beast because let’s face it – it’s
pretty perfect. Harry Potter: I’d love to give Quidditch a go!
Name
one item from any Disney, Harry Potter or Marvel movie you would want for
Christmas.
Disney movie: Ariel’s clam shell bra would be awesome, it’s so cute!
Harry Potter: I’d love Hermione’s time turner. Being in two places at once
would be amazing.
Name
one unforgettable experience/moment you’ve had at the Orlando parks.
100% without a doubt has to be when you first step foot into Magic
Kingdom and make your way down Main Street and see the castle in the distance.
It is a very overwhelming moment for a Disney lover and one that you won’t
forget. It is obviously so special the first ever time you do, but every single
time after when you revisit, even years after your first visit, the magic is
still there and it’s definitely a very surreal moment!
I hope you enjoyed this tag about Orlando and Disney and Universal. I
love doing tags like this and loved this one with a mixture of the parks in it!
Counting down the days to my return to magical Orlando… 152 days!!!

Welcome 2015!
Hello 2015!
Now I don't know about anyone else but for me 2014 seemed to fly by. I literally seemed to have blinked and now 2015 is here! Without sounding too depressing (lighten up Em) 2014 wasn't my best year - not because of anything particularly bad happening, but nothing particularly good did either.
I don't feel as though in 2014 I really lived my life, I feel as though I just sort of existed haha. There were a couple of good events in 2014 such as booking my holiday to Florida for June this year (WAHOOOOOOO!!!) and my 21st birthday. I'm going to Orlando, Florida with my best friend to spend two weeks doing all things Disney, Universal and to swim with dolphins. To know that it is only 5 months away now is far too exciting!! My 21st was definitely a birthday to remember. I had a brilliant night with my friends and my brother - the day after proved so with a day of not moving from the sofa haha!
I'm so excited for 2015 to finally be here as I have so much to look forward too! In April, I am going to see The Vamps in concert (Bradley Simpson, I love you), in May I finish university forever :O, in June I go to Florida for 2 weeks and July is my graduation! I'm also thinking of taking another trip to London with my nan and hopefully get tickets to go and see One Direction towards the end of the year as I was very sad to miss out on them the morning they were released :(
I'm also not one to ever stick to new year's resolutions, so I'm just gonna call these 'aims' and hope for the best.
I want to do more with my blog this year and also become more confident in myself (definitely hope for the best here Em haha).
But anyway, I hope you all have a fabulous 2015 and it brings everything that you want!
Here's to a happy 2015!
Love Em x

Feeling Festive...
Is
anybody else feeling really festive this year? Because I definitely am...
First up, I will apologise for not finishing Blogtober. I
lasted until day 24 (which was better than I ever thought I'd do!) but I
unfortunately did fail miserably a week before it ended. But I am back now!!
I don't know what it is this year, but I am feeling festive
like no other this year. I always get into the Christmas spirit very
early, but this year I literally cannot wait. I love everything to do with the
autumn/winter seasons especially Christmas. Another reason why I think I love Christmas
is because I am away from home at university so I know as soon as I finish this
term, I am home for three weeks with my family and friends having lots of fun
and happy times! I am excited to start my Yankee Candle advent calendar this
year too, because I have only ever had the chocolate advent calendars (Cadbury’s
wins every time), so that is something else new to look forward to! I can’t
wait to go Christmas shopping, to the Christmas markets, ice skating, hot
chocolates and candle lit lush baths all the time. My heaven! I love spending
time with the family over Christmas when everyone is together. Putting the Christmas
decorations up, winter walks with my dog and big scarves. I currently have my Yankee
Candle in Christmas Cookie burning also!
I
hope you are all looking forward to the Christmas season and maybe even getting
excited already like me too! I’m going to go and watch The Holiday now – one of
my favourites for this time of year!
Lots
of love, Em x

Bare Minerals Haul | Blogtober Day 24
Left to right: queen tiffany and sex kitten.
So
it had been a while since I treated myself to some high end make up so I
thought it was about time! I decided to buy some things that I had never tried
before and get some fresh items into my collection. I went with my Auntie who
absolutely swears by the bare minerals loose powder foundation. I have always
been one to swear by MAC studio fix fluid, as I have never been too comfortable
with my skin and always wanted a high coverage. I have started to become more
comfortable with my own skin so thought why not give it a try? I went to the
bare minerals counter in Boots and the lovely lady behind the counter sat me
down and helped me decide on which foundation was for me so I came away with
the bare minerals ready foundation in r310. To go along with this I bought the
brush that the lady used to apply it which is the precision face brush. The
staying power of this was amazing yesterday and today. As it is a powder
foundation I didn’t expect the foundation to stay as well as the MAC one does,
however it stays on my skin and is a lot lighter on the skin as well.
I also
got my eye make up done there as well and I decided to buy the two eye shadows
that she used because they were literally so pretty. She used the loose eye
shadow in the shade queen tiffany all over my lid and used sex kitten in the
crease. It is so pretty. I also bought the brush she used to apply these to my
eyes which was the double ended precision eye brush.
To say
I have never really had anything from bare minerals before, I am pleasantly
surprised as I would never really head over to this counter. I have a feeling
that I will be heading to that counter a lot more from now on.

Top 10 Things To Do At Hollywood Studios | Blogtober Day 23
Due to
my love for Disney I decided to do a few posts on my blog stating my top ten
favourite things to do in each of the Disney parks, water parks and other
Disney areas. I already did Magic Kingdom so next up is Hollywood Studios!
1. Fantasmic
Fantasmic is one of Disney’s night time shows and it is amazing. It is around half an hour long and it has a huge firework display and also water extravaganza. Mickey is the main character in there dressed in his sorcerer’s outfit. It is definitely worth a watch if you are able to go to Hollywood Studios.

2. The Twilight Zone Tower of
Terror
This ride is great. It is built to look like an old hotel and it is also haunted. It is designed so that you feel as though you are getting into an elevator and it shoots you up and down really fast. It will shoot you up to the twilight zone in the haunted elevator! Definitely worth a ride if you like more thrill rides.

3. Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster
featuring Aerosmith
This ride is designed to be as though you are going to an Aerosmith concert that they invited you to in a stretch limousine, but you’re running late. You shoot into the darkness on the freeways of LA whilst Aerosmith music is blasting out. Fabulous.

4. Toy Story Midway Mania
Similar to Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin at Magic Kingdom, Toy Story
Midway Mania is a ride where you have targets that you have to shoot to earn
points. This ride is in 4D as well so you need to wear 4D glasses. It is a lot
of fun, it is always very busy but you definitely have to ride this ride.
5. The Great Movie Ride
This ride is quite a long one, around 18 minutes, but definitely worth riding. It is a tour through lots of movies throughout the years including movies such as Singin’ in the Rain and Mary Poppins. Lovely, interesting and fun ride to go on.

6. Beauty and the Beast – Live on
Stage
Due to Beauty and the Beast being one of my all time favourite Disney movies, this is a must for me. It is the story of Beauty and the Beast but Broadway musical style and is amazing to watch. I hear that they are taking this ride away and replacing it with Tangled – I hope they don’t! I much prefer Beauty and the Beast to Tangled!

7. Pizza Planet
Who doesn’t love pizza and who doesn’t love Disney? Put them together and you get Pizza Planet – a pizza place set out like the one in the Toy Story films. It even has the green aliens hanging from the roof!

8. Sci-Fi Dine-In Theatre
This restaurant is designed to look like a drive-in cinema. The tables are actually cars and there is a massive screen at the front playing cartoons and stuff for everyone to watch. I wouldn’t say that this is absolutely going to be the best food you will find on Disney, because it’s not at all, however the atmosphere and the theming of the restaurant makes it definitely worth going.

9. Muppet Vision 3D
Muppet Vision is a 3D film and live-action attraction. It doesn’t matter where you sit within the theatre – you will always get the same view – but it is definitely worth watching this 3D show.

10. Scenery
Random
one as it is not an attraction or restaurant, but the scenery of Hollywood
Studios is beautiful and there are many places to take great photographic
memories here. I would recommend Sunset Boulevard with Tower of Terror in the
background, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster guitar, the fountain outside of Muppet
Vision 3D and also the icon of the park – the sorcerers hat.
They
are my top ten things to do at Hollywood Studios. Every time I write one of the
Disney posts it just makes me stupidly excited to get there in June!
